We're here! YAY!
Ok, so I'm sure most of you know how long and painful the flight from Oz to Europe is and we were expecting it to be long but, by the end of it, it felt like we'd spent the last 20 years sitting in a cramped space breathing recycled air! But we got here and that's all that matters (even if I did look like a hobo that hadn't washed for a year!
Yesterday when we got here, we had a bit of an explore around Museumplein where our hotel is and then had brekkie at Da Saloon which was great! We were planning then to have a quick snooze but ended up sleeping for about 18 hours! Felt much better this morning tho!
This turned out to be a very good thing because we went for a MASSIVE walk today! Walked into the centre of town and looked around the shops etc which was awesome fun! Had lunch and decided to head back towards our hotel. Thing was, we headed in the totally wrong direction, ended up walking for about 3 hours and finally found our way back! But, what would have totally pissed us off in Australia was kinda fun here because there was so much to look at!!!
We absolutely LOVE Amsterdam!!
